Cruise Information
Mega Nova Cruises
Cruise is fully narrated by our naturalists and researchers.
Each cruise is 2.5 to 5 hours in duration depending on the location of the whales.
Mega Nova Cruises are from June 13 to September 30, 2027.
A minimum of 15 people are required for the Mega Nova to depart.
All children up to the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children ages 3 and under are welcome on the Mega Nova, parental supervision required.
Please note: Washroom available on the Mega Nova
Cetacean Defender Zodiac™ Cruises
Cruises are partially narrated by our Captains who are very happy to answer any questions you may have.
Each cruise is 1.5 to 2 ½ hours in duration depending on location of the whales.
Zodiac™ cruises are scheduled from June 13 to September 30, 2027.
A minimum of 6 people are required for the Zodiac™ to depart. Our boat is legally allowed to carry 12 guests, but we limit to 10 passengers except for charters where we will book to maximum capacity.
Zodiac™ may not be suitable for children under 8, expectant mothers or those with spinal ailments
Please be advised that taking a Zodiac ™ cruise is at your own risk.
There are no toilet facilities on the Zodiac™.
All Zodiac guests must be between 90 pounds (41kg) and 300 pounds (136kg) and will be provided with a full length flotation suit. You must be able to wear one of our flotation suits before you can go on the zodiac.
IMPORTANT FOR ALL CRUISES
Please arrive for check in 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure.
Departures are in Atlantic Time.
All prices DO NOT include 14% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax).
All prices are in Canadian Funds.
Student ID is required to receive discounted rates.
A portion of fare is contributed to our ongoing research projects.

Sightings are guaranteed; free passes will be issued at Captain’s discretion if no whales are sighted. No refund will be issued.
A credit card is needed to secure your booking. We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Amex and Discover. Payment will be made upon check in.
Cash or Debit is also accepted upon ticket purchase.
Payments are not transacted until ticket purchase on the day of your cruise. Please arrive 1 hour prior to departure to check in.

Children’s prices for these dates are $40. The special rates are for these days only and cannot be combined with any other offer.
