Harmonized tax of 14% is not included in the posted prices. Prices are in Canadian Funds and departures are Atlantic Time. Discounts rates cannot be combined. *Sunset cruises (5:30 pm and 6:00 pm) run in peak season only (From July 11, 2026 to September 7, 2026.)
Cruise Information
Mega Nova Cruises
Cruise is fully narrated by our naturalists and researchers.
Each cruise is 2.5 to 5 hours in duration.
Mega Nova Cruises are from early June until mid October.
A minimum of 15 people are required for the Mega Nova to depart.
All children up to the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
Please note: Washroom available on the Mega Nova
Children 3 & under are welcome on the Mega Nova, parental supervision required.
Cetacean Defender Zodiac™ Cruises
Cruises are partially narrated by our Captains who are very happy to answer any questions you may have.
Each cruise is 1.5 to 2 ½ hours in duration.
Zodiac™ cruises are scheduled from June until mid October.
A minimum of 8 people are required for the Zodiac™ to depart.
Zodiac™ may not be suitable for children under 8, expectant mothers or those with spinal ailments
Please be advised that taking a Zodiac ™ cruise is at your own risk.
There are no toilet facilities on the Zodiac™.
All Zodiac guests must be between 90 pounds (41kg) and 350 pounds (159kg) and will be provided with a full length flotation suit. You must be able to wear one of our flotation suits before you can go on the zodiac.
IMPORTANT FOR ALL CRUISES
Please arrive for check in 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure.
Departures are in Atlantic Time.
All prices DO NOT include 14% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax).
All prices are in Canadian Funds.
Student ID is required to receive discounted rates.
A portion of fare is contributed to our ongoing research projects.

Sunset cruises (5:30 pm and 6:00 pm on Mega Nova) run in peak season only (July 5 to September 1, 2025.)
Please note that schedule is subject to change.
Sightings are guaranteed; free passes will be issued at Captain’s discretion if no whales are sighted.
We request prepayment to hold and confirm your reservation either with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, or American Express. Cash is accepted upon ticket purchase before trip purchase. Prepayments are not transacted until ticket purchase. Cancellations not received within 24 hours of trip departure will be billed accordingly. If the cruise departs and you’re not on it, there is no refund.
What to Bring: Warm clothes (very important) Rain gear (in case of damp weather) Sunglasses Binoculars (especially for close view of birds) Food (snack or picnic lunch)

We are also taking reservations for our 2026 Customer Appreciation Special in recognition of our 40th Anniversary at the price of $40 (Tax not included) for the MEGA NOVA ONLY on these dates: July 15, 2026, July 30, 2026, August 15, 2026, August 30, 2026 and September 12, 2026. Children’s prices for these dates are $35. The special rates are for these days only and cannot be combined with any other offer.
